Welcome to the St. Liborius Catholic School website. Catholic Education is an important mission of the Church and Catholic schools have a long successful history of accomplishing that mission. St. Liborius School, founded in 1912, enjoys a long proud history in this parish.

We believe that life lived every day at St. Liborius School shapes children’s behaviors and attitudes.   The powerful influence of living each day in an atmosphere of gospel values and prayer is invaluable. It shows in every area of our curriculum from the classroom to the playground. Current events issues are studied through the eyes of our faith, playground incidents are handled in light of the Ten Commandments, and connections to the Gospel message are made in every subject. Children are taught to care about more than themselves and to be of service. Most importantly, parents can be confident that they will entrust their dearest treasures, their children, to adults at school who share the same faith traditions and moral values, adults who have answered God’s call to live the Gospel message themselves and are ready to create a classroom and school climate based on that message.

St. Liborius is fully accredited by the State of Illinois. We have a challenging academic curriculum and maintain a disciplined school climate. We are fortunate to enjoy active parent support and encourage the involvement of parents in helping to achieve our goals.

We are very proud of our school, our faculty, our students, and our families who make sacrifices to obtain this education for their children.

Sincerely,
Mary Jane Bartley
