Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)

Becoming Catholic

The Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) is a process for sharing the Catholic faith with adults who are

  • Not baptized but are feeling God's call in their lives.
  • Baptized in other faiths and feel drawn to the Catholic Church.
  • Baptized in the Catholic faith but have not received First Communion or Confirmation.
  • Baptized and confirmed, but want to update their knowledge of the Catholic faith.

Welcome!

OCIA is a great opportunity to dive more deeply into the Catholic Faith and to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist.

Jesus longs to have a personal relationship with each and every one of us, but we can only cultivate that relationship if we know Him. Even before we begin looking for Him, He looks for us. I am excited to walk with you on this journey of getting to know Jesus and getting to know more about Him. Even if you aren't sure if you're ready to become Catholic or complete your sacramental initiation, please fill out this form.  (If someone else is joining you, please have them fill out the form separately.)

God bless,

Fr. Frank Pusateri
